Swiftech released its first Apogee Waterblock back in 2005. The original Diamond Pin Matrix featured 1.00 x 1.00 mm made from two 45-degree angle passes. Since then, the Diamond Pin Matrix got finer and finer generation after generation; it received several tweaks to improve performance on CPU geometries sometimes changing drastically. Today, the Apogee waterblock features the most advance cooling engine with fins almost as thin as paper with an average thickness of only 125 um.
